Iran culinary Tour or Khoshmazeh tour (Delicious tour)  description: Iranian food has too much variety. In each city, you will be surprised by their local lunches and dinners or even breakfasts. Behind each food and recipe is a history that needs more investigation; however, in this Iran culinary package, we try to convey the history of each food simply through the local people or chefs or shopkeepers. This is a mixture of the culinary and tasting tour. The name of this tour conveys what you are going to experience

Travel itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Tehran

You will be welcomed by ITC agent as soon as you leave the customs gate and will be transferred to the booked accommodation place.

If you like, you will have Tehran city tour.

In the evening, you will be dined in one of traditional Tehran restaurants starting with any type of food you like to test.

Overnight: Tehran

Day 2: Tehran food tour

If you wake up in very early morning, you go to Kalepazi in which you will be served by boiled cow or sheep parts which might include the head, feet and stomach.

You will be thirsty after this, so you go to a café shop and drink something, maybe an Iranian traditional syrup.

You continue by passing through Tehran traditional bazaar, do shopping and also taking a look at how people dress, behave and also eat.

Day 3: Tehran tour and flight to Shiraz (1:10 h)

In the morning, again you are invited to eat Haleem for breakfast. Haleem is a type of stew popular in the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Although the dish varies from region to region, it optionally includes wheat or barley, meat, and lentils. You then continue with Tehran historical tour. Otherwise you start with food tour to first one of bakery shops in which different types of bread are cooked. We hope to get permission and go to the bakery backstage, see how they make the bread dough, how the traditional bakery ovens still work and also test the fresh Iranian bread.

For lunch, you will go to Darakeh and test Dizi as one of the Iranian traditional dishes.

Transfer to domestic airport and fly to Shiraz.

Day 4: Shiraz excursion

After eating breakfast at hotel, you go to Vakil bazaar, get more familiar with available spices and dried vegetables. Then you will eat one of the best ones in your life called Shirazi Faloodeh as a cold desert behind Vakil bazaar.

You will be invited to an Iranian local house hosting with an Iranian family and have some traditional meals for dinner. It is not only delicious food that inspire you, but also the open conversation with an Iranian family about any topics, exploring some more Iranian traditions, idea sharing and some fun together.

Day 5: Persepolis excursion

It will be a pity if you travel to Shiraz and miss UNESCO world heritage of Persepolis. For lunch you go to a traditional Haft Khan restaurant and eat completely local delicious foods.

It is up to you to decide for your evening, but there are some good options if you want to test fast foods in Iran especially Pizza which will surprise you.

Day 6: Drive to Isfahan (482km)

We try to leave Shiraz in early morning, so you will have lunch in Isfahan. Do you like to eat Beryooni made of lamb meat with high amount of lamb fat? It is good to eat at least once.

We suggest you go shopping and buy some raw materials, then if the weather sounds good, you can have a picnic besides Zayandeh Rud River and cook together on your own oven. No matter your tour guide is a female or male, it will be done!

Day 7: Isfahan food tour

Morning tour to Naqshe Jahan Sq. as UNESCO world heritage. Continue with a culinary workshop in one Iranian house, so you cook by the help of the host who is a good chef and then eat what you made yourself. If you are interested to cook any especial Iranian dish, let us know in advance, otherwise the host can decide what may be interesting for you.

Rest at hotel.

Overnight: Isfahan

This Iran culinary package can be continued to every city of Iran although some cities like Rasht are so famous for a variety of delicious foods. However, consider that a long tour may become boring because some meals are cooked and served in every city of Iran.

The above-mentioned tour is a sample of what you can expect in a culinary and eating tour. So it is up to you to choose which cities you like to have such a tour in.
