Malek-o Tojjar Hotel belonged to a family with the same name in Yazd. Its location is in Panjeh Ali Bazaar, Ghiam Avenue in Yazd. A narrow alley enjoying high walls is the entrance. Various rooms of the building have unique characteristics each adorned with paintings on the walls and ceilings by prominent painters from shiraz. The creation of these works lasted some ten years and go together quite well with the paintings of the orangery building in that city.

Ceilings are also adorned with Yazd famous artists. These works of especially relevant art remain to this day. Some feature the orangery building located in the same city. Malek-o Tojjar Hotel is, therefore, the first hotel in the world made of mud bricks.

Malek-o Tojjar Hotel Amenities:

The hotel was inaugurated in 1997 and became complete with 23 rooms and 77 beds. Its unique characteristics have changed it into a residential utopia for those who seek comfort and peace. The hotel offers facilities such as Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV and shopping center. The central courtyard and the base mentare used as traditional restaurants serving local and international recipes besides a coffee shop. Moreover, the courtyard is quaint and beautiful. Wooden pillars are found here and there. There is a terrace where guests can meander. There are summer and winter chambers also. Corridors connect various basement rooms according to historical Iranian architectures.  There is a large pool where the kids can splash around.
